Bible Museum

The Bible Museum was founded in 1988 by the Reformed Church in Hungary. Towards the end of the socialist era, the foundation itself was a great achievement, however simple the exhibition might have been. The museum was in operation in this fashion until 2011, when planning for a radical redesigning work was started, the result of which can be seen today. The new exhibition focuses on why the Bible is important today, why it is worth having, reading, and passing on. With the help of original archaeological artifacts, replicas, analogue and digital interactive tools, the Bible Museum now presents a backdrop, both cultural and geographical, in which the stories of the Bible come to life. Visitors are offered various services such as guided tours, activities for school groups or cultural programs. Come and experience the stories of the Bible!
