Bible Museum Discovery<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Well-known stories from the Old and New Testaments are shown in a part of the exhibition for children. There is an activity sheet to navigate their way through the colourful history of the Bible. This sheet is for pre-organised school groups only.<br \/>\nDescription: The children solve the handout in small groups after a brief introduction to the museum. Afterwards, we check their answers together, and discuss what they have seen.<br \/>\nDuration: 50 minutes<br \/>\nRecommended age group: elementary school grades 3 and 4.<br \/>\nSchool subject: Bible studies and Ethics<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Bible Museum Animal Discovery<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Many animals live close to us. This was also the case in Bible times. With this activity sheet, the children can learn many interesting facts about the artifacts that are shaped as animals. First, they need to find the artifact then they have to fill out the missing parts of the description based on the label next to the artifact. This fun activity initiates an exciting search, the joy of discovery and new knowledge. This sheet is for pre-organised school groups only.<br \/>\nDescription: A brief introduction of the museum. The task is to find the objects that are shaped as animals, find them on the worksheet and fill out the missing parts of the exhibit labels.<br \/>\nDuration: 50 minutes<br \/>\nRecommended age group: Elementary school grades 4-6.<br \/>\nSchool subject: Bible studies and Ethics, History, Art and Visual Culture<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Museum Quiz<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Multiply choice on 13+1 artifacts with three explanations and only one correct answer. The Bible Museum\u2019s fact sheet provides answers as to why these artifacts are in the museum exhibitions and the message they carry for us today.<br \/>\nDescription: A brief introduction of the museum. We identify through group work the object on the permanent exhibition.<br \/>\nDuration: 50 minutes<br \/>\nRecommended age group: Elementary school grades 7-8 and high school groups<br \/>\nSchool subject: Bible studies and ethics, History, Art and Visual Culture<\/p>\n<p>The completion of further museum children\u2019s programmes is in progress.
